An acrylic and oil pastel set on a board and fixed with a resin finish. This is a style of work I have worked with extensively over the years. The resin finish gives an almost cinematic tone to the work, whilst also making it a piece with a tactile and strong sense of resolution.
I have long explored and loved the cliffs around my home of Bondi and some of my earliest memories are of climbing and adventuring around the Ben Buckler headland as a kid. Growing into a teenager, the cliffs became a space of exciting mystery, involving kissing girls and other thrilling adventures.
